CAMPING & PARKING
All tickets include camping in a tent. Both the designated car park & camping area is a short walk away from the main festival festivities. We have limited Vehicle Passes available this year, and every vehicle on site needs to purchase a Vehicle Pass. If you are able to carpool with friends please do so or find a lift with fellow attendees. This helps us and the environment.
Vehicles which are not being slept in MUST be parked in the designated carpark which is a short 3 min walk away from the camping area. This is because flat space in the paddocks is at a premium and we must utilise it well.
There is a Family Camping Area which is to ensure both our parents & kids can get a decent nights sleep.

SWIMMING TIMES
Water Safety is incredibly important to us. We have had to go through a long process with the local council on this, and therefore the these times are the ONLY times swimming is permitted AND in the space that is allocated in the Town Centre, which is manned by a Lifeguard during the hours of 11am - 5pm. Of course we will be making decisions around swimming based on the weather each day and the safety of our patrons.

WATER PARK
The water park is open from 11am - 5pm each day (same time as swimming times). There is a zero tolerance for alcohol or intoxication. Tickets can be purchased both in advance for the water park and on site at an additional cost. Each ticket holder for the water park will need to sign a waiver before entering the water park.
ALCOHOL
There is to be NO ALCOHOL ON SITE. Due to a decision by council & local authorities received today, 30th November at approximately 10am we are unable to sell alcohol or allow any alcohol on site. Anyone caught with alcohol or being intoxicated will be removed from site. The event organisers are directly responsible for the management of this and could be prosecuted by Police. Please understand the severity of this for us.

GENERAL SAFETY INFO
The terrain across the site is uneven in the paddocks, especially the camping area due to the land formerly hosting cattle and therefore you must BE MINDFUL ALWAYS when you are walking as there is a risk you (and/or your children) could twist your ankles.
- Reception on site is patchy so you may not always be able to use your phone -
- We have children and elders joining us so please ensure your behavior is appropriate so everyone can enjoy themselves fully -
- The water is a big concern for us, so watch out for kids; even if they're not yours! -
- NO SWIMMING outside of the designated spaces and hours (instant removal from site if rules not adhered to) -
- We have a zero tolerance for alcohol on site, substance abuse or harassment of any kind -
- If you see something that doesn’t look right please tell someone or do something (only if you’re able to keep yourself safe) -
BRING YOUR OWN & TAKE YOUR OWN
Lakeside Odyssey has no bins! We are aiming to be 0% waste which means our vendors and any other providers will not be giving out single use plastics/plates/cups etc, so please bring your own cutlery and everything else you'd need as if you were camping on your own.
This also means any rubbish you create you take home with you.
Please think about how you will deal with this at your camp site, prior to coming. This means at a minimum you will need to BYO rubbish bags, remove any packaging before coming to site and we also suggest rinsing & separating your recyclables, as well as thinking twice before buying any single use plastics.
There will be wash stations for your plates etc
